Jon Hamm and Adam Scott’s Greatest Event in Television History has been revealed at last. It’s “one of the most exciting and expensive opening credit sequence remakes of our time … ” and an awesomely odd Hollywood satire that also features “certified bad boy” Paul Rudd, Gus Van Sant, Paul Scheer (who wrote it), Megan Mullally, Kathryn Hahn and Jeff Probst. Lance Bangs and Scott directed.

Hiatus Beards, We Hardly Knew Ye …
The TV season has begun anew, and so we must finally say goodbye to our favorite hiatus beards.
But oh, what beards they were!
Darren Criss (Glee) acquits himself well, but Jon Hamm (who apparently has to shave twice a day to maintain his Mad Men edge) belongs in the hiatus beard hall of fame.

Sesame Street kicks off its 43rd season next month on PBS Kids, and it sounds like it’ll be a pretty star-studded one.
Other guest stars you can expect to see: Maya Rudolph, Timothy Olyphant, Halle Berry, Melissa McCarthy, Eric Stonestreet, Charlize Theron, and Zac Efron. Even better, you can expect parodies of Downton Abbey (“Upside Down Abbey” and Boardwalk Empire (“Birdwalk Empire”).

Best. SNL. Sendoff. Ever. Of course, everyone’s talking about Kristen Wiig’s tearful farewell (with a few asking about the other guys). But the episode was packed with classic Wiig performances, like the Lawrence Welk sketch, with Jon Hamm as “Italian crooner Jonny Prosciutto.”
Tank you, tank you.
