Thomas remembers coming into his meeting with Steven Spielberg wearing a bullwhip on his belt: “I just wanted to talk about Harrison Ford and Indiana Jones.”

And he remembers leaving with something special — certainty: “It was the only part of my career that I knew I had before I left the audition room.”
