Wall Street is the obvious go-to for films starring fathers and their offspring, but On Golden Pond, with powerful themes of redemption and reconnection resonating through the movie (and through Henry and Jane Fonda’s own story), is the best.
An interesting side note: Did you know On Golden Pond was the second-highest-grossing film of 1981, after Raiders of the Lost Ark?
